(2)Executive Director/Civil Engg(P),Railway Board, Rail Bhawan, NEw Delhi -Member. 2. (ii) What types of scrap could perhaps be directly supplied to PSUs like Steel Plants of SAIL through running/rate contracts. Whether in case of non feasibility of any such proposal by such PSUs, it is continued to be sold as per existing system. (iii) What types of scrap could be directly used by IR without the necessity of creating additional infrastructure and with the existing facilities, so that the quantum so required is not sold and the balance quantity is continued to be sold as per existing system. (iv) What types of scrap could be considered for recycling for use by the Indian Railways by creating new infrastructure and facilities needing capital investment. (v) In that case a cost benefit analysis to be projected as well as economic/financial viability of such project to be indicated. (vi) The net requirement of funds for such projects and sources from which such funding could be arranged. (vii) The lead time for implementation of such project to be indicated considering al possible factors, procedural limitations, formalities, financial arrangements and approval from competent authorities. (viii) Which type of scrap and what quantum of such scraps will be needed as raw materials for such projected establishments and from which point of time so that auction sale of such scrap could be discontinued only from such dates. 3.The tenure of the Committee shall be for a period of one month from the date of its constitution.
